  • Have your ticket number or QR code ready at the entrance, because anyone without a ticket goes to the back of the line.
  • The drop off point is the tennis court parking lot, and there are no drop offs in the front or main school lots.
  • If you have more than one vehicle, arrive together so your group lines up together.
  • Volunteers wave you into your lane, and you should double up the lines in your row so everyone fits.
  • Drop off passengers at the line up rather than on the route, and the bathrooms are in the school building next to the lot.
  • Hand candy to the curb rather than throwing it from a vehicle, and keep your area clean while you wait.

How the lanes work

Numbered lanes are for vehicles and lettered lanes are for marching units, and lanes 1 and 2 along with the lettered lanes are placed in an exact order.

Lane 1
Dignitaries in order: police escort, Parade Marshal, elected officials, Fort Leonard Wood command, the Chamber, and the Ambassadors last.
Lane 2
Veteran organizations: VFW, American Legion, DAV, Marine Corps League, women veterans, motorcycle associations, and the National Guard. A veteran organization bringing a band or a marching unit lines up in lane B or lane C with the other formations on foot.
Lanes 3 to 6
Businesses, churches, clubs, schools, and families, first come first served within the lane. Trucks with trailers and motorcycles get their own row.
Lane A
Fort Leonard Wood Joint Service Color Guard.
Lane B
Every band, including a veteran organization's band, so the music is spaced along the route: Waynesville High School Marching Band and the active duty schools.
Lane C
Every marching unit, including a veteran organization marching on foot: Marine Corps, Navy, and Air Force detachments and Waynesville JROTC.
