Parade dates for the next five years

The Veterans’ Day Ceremony and Parade is held on the Saturday on or before November 11, so when November 11 falls on a Saturday the parade is on Veterans Day itself, and when it falls on a Sunday the parade is the Saturday before. The two cities take turns hosting, with Waynesville in even years and St. Robert in odd years.

Put these in your calendar now. Sign up opens about 100 days before each parade, and this site is where it happens.

Why these dates

Veterans Day is November 11 every year, whatever day of the week it lands on, and a weekday parade would keep away the schools, the bands, and most of the families who come to watch. Holding it on the Saturday on or before the eleventh keeps the parade close to the day itself while putting it on a morning the whole community can attend.

A date marked as projected is worked out from that rule rather than confirmed, so it is reliable for planning but the committee can move it. Once a year is set up here, whatever the committee decided is what this page shows.
